CATSIN represents Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses and midwives and students undertaking nursing and midwifery courses leading to registration and enrolment.
CATSIN aims to guide, advise and assist in the development of strategies to recruit and retain Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples into nursing and midwifery. Further, CATSIN aims to ensure the inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, health and culture in all nursing and midiwfery courses leading to registration, enrollment, endorsement and specialist nurse credentials.
