The organization is committed to ensuring that best practice wound management skills and knowledge is transferred to all health professionals who manage and treat wounds. Every two years there is a national conference which attracts speakers from all over the world with an average attendance of 800-1200 participants.
The AWMA has 3000 members in all states and territories.
